Community Guidelines

The Community Guidelines help define the spirit of RADVISION's Developer Community and what it means to be a member of our community. Your use of RADVISION's Developer Community is subject to these Guidelines and our Terms of Use.

What you SHOULD and SHOULDN'T be doing while using RADVISION's Developer Community:

You SHOULD

  • Be polite and respectful
RADVISION's Developer Community is a site assisting developers of VoIP related products and services to develop their solutions. The site has been created with a positive intent and we ask that you help further that intent. As this is a community of many types of people who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see - be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.
  • Be professional
This is a community of professionals. When you publish your contributions to the community, they are done under your alias - public or hidden. As such, you should be professional in your activities in the community.
  • Be positive
Have something to say? Make sure you write it in a positive way. Even if you have complaints, make sure they are written in a constructive manner.
  • Add value
The best way to be heard is by writing stuff that others will value. Your words should be thought-provoking and help people improve their knowledge or skills; build their businesses; do their jobs; solve problems; or understand better.
  • Enjoy
It's not only work - make sure you also have fun while you're here.

You SHOULD Not

  • Upload content that isn't yours
Respect the copyright of others. This means using your own content or content in the public domain for your entries and images.
  • Be mean
You will be heard as long as you remain respectful to others and to RADVISION. Content which is unfavorable to RADVISION is allowed, as long as it is not ugly, offensive or out of context.
  • Spam the site
People generally know spam when they see it. Commercial content that is not germane to a goal, or promotional content that is repeatedly posted are examples of spam. You should think twice before ever posting commercial content on RADVISION's Developer Community.
  • Upload irrelevant content
This community is focused on assisting VoIP developers. Please don't contribute content that is inappropriate, off-topic or otherwise questionable.

Reporting Violations

Our community is built for our users. We rely on users to report and assess inappropriate, illegal or abusive activities. We need your help. If you encounter any inappropriate content, please report it by emailing us to DevCommunity@radvision.com.
