Packet-Switched Streaming offers the basic building block for streaming services using IP over cellular networks. It is based on 3GPP and 3GPP2 specifications (TS 26.233, TS 26.234, and TS 26.244). At the heart of the PSS specification lies the RTSP protocol. Interoperability of PSS is being handled by the IMTC.
