Flow Control

Flow control is a mechanism used in a video call to change the bandwidth being sent by a sender from the receiver side.

All protocols supporting video calling, such as H.323 or SIP, have a control channel. For example, H.245 in H.323. This protocol defines various capabilities, flow control among them.
